Former Greens Candidate Hannah Thomas is at risk of losing sight in one eye after Australian police beat her at protest outside a business in Sydney who is supplying technology to the IOF. The 35-year-old politician sustained facial injuries during the arrest and was taken to Bankstown Hospital for treatment. This is atrocious.

Need to investigate how this happened, she was being arrested after being asked to move on many times, a struggle ensured.

Other people were around & she was injured, they are not sure how it happened, possibly by an elbow, the police have video camera of the struggle so it will all come out.

But making assumptions of police brutality is jumping to conclusions just to get publicity.

I agree but unfortunately NSW Police haven’t got a great record when it comes to over reacting in tense situations like the elderly lady killed in a Cooma aged care facility which is still under further investigation.

Leonard R Pearce it looked like 2 or 3 cops dragged her off. She looks like she's about 150cm tall and 45kg. A real danger to 3 cops. She was tripped by a a cop dragging her and they both fell then another 2 got involved. Another 1 hit another woman in the throat and had a choke hold until he saw a camera. They inflamed the situation and went into violent mode.

She was a peaceful protester who posed no threat to the police.

Most police can be good but if provoked brutal . You treat them with hostility,contempt,insult them ,call them names ,show them that you know your rights ,things should be done your way then expected then to smile at you ? No! Respect is a two way, you get what you give.You try to teach the cops how to do their job they show you what they are made of. We all need their security and should treat them with respect. Police should also act neutral and not according to a political wave.May God heal her and fill her with His love.

"Actions have consequences". IDF style policing now. This does look more like an eye for an eye. Did they need to take this amount of force? And looking at the comment sections, I would be inquiring as to why the felt they needed to take this amount of force.
